Story behind the song:
In 1984, Michael and James Kesterson formed the hard rock band, Sleaze Patrol. During rehearsals, Michael would place the main beat for this song which James did not care for at the time. After months of hearing it, James, one day, began playing along and together they came up with the music which would later be called "Cloud-9". The production of the song purposely reflected the Led Zeppelin influence. At the time this song was written, James had just turned 22 and Michael was a few months past his 18th birthday.
