good kid, m.A.A.d city - Skits/Story (Kendrick Lamar) - Video
PUBLISHED:  Oct 10, 2013
DESCRIPTION:
I took all of the skits from Kendrick Lamar's album "good kid, m.A.A.d city" and put them in chronological order. These skits tell Kendrick's (K. Dot) story from beginning to end.

I do not own any of these songs or the rights to any of these, everything belongs to Kendrick Lamar, Top Dawg Entertainment, Aftermath Entertainment, Interscope Records, and Universal Music Groups.

*This is the how the story goes.....*

0:00 - 0:32 = Sherane a.k.a. Master Splinter's Daughter (Skit 1)
The intro to this song and to the whole album...you can hear the noise of a tape recorder starting and a prayer begins

0:33 - 0:40 = Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe (Skit) ................................ K. Dot's friends pick him up in their white Toyota (which leads into Backseat Freestyle)

0:41 - 1:40 = The Art of Peer Pressure (Skit 3) ............................. K. Dot smokes the angel dust blunt and his homies talk about their plans to rob some house when the sun goes down. They also mention to drop K. Dot off after the robbery so he can get his mom's mini van

1:41 - 1:49 = The Art of Peer Pressure (Skit 1) ............................. K. Dot and his homies are robbing the house when they realize someone is inside the house already

1:50 - 1:57 = The Art of Peer Pressure (Skit 2) ............................. K. Dot's mom calls him to see what he's doing and he lies to her by saying "kicking it" even though he thought that he was about to get arrested for B&E

1:58 - 2:06 = Compton (Skit) .................................................... K. Dot arrives back home after pulling off the robbery with his homies and tells him mom that he's going to use her van for 15 minutes

2:07 - 3:28 = Sherane a.k.a. Master Splinter's Daughter (Skit 2) ..... K. Dot's mom calls his cell phone and leaves a voicemail looking for him because she needs the mini van back (as this voicemail is happening the two gangbangers in two black hoodies outside Sherane's place are walking over towards K. Dot...which is the Poetic Justice Skit)

3:29 - 4:02 = Poetic Justice (Skit) ............................................ The two gangbangers in two black hoodies (mentioned at the end of Sherane a.k.a. Master Splinter's Daughter) approach K.Dot to see where he's from and to find out what gang he's in...they end up jumping K. Dot

4:03 - 4:18 = m.A.A.d City (Skit) .............................................. K. Dot is with the homies after getting jumped and one of his friends offer him a bottle of liquor (probably Hennessy, as mentioned in The Art of Peer Pressure)

4:19 - 5:01 = Money Trees (Skit) ............................................. This is the second voicemail K. Dot's mom leaves on his phone, saying that she just wants the van back (this most likely is happening as Dave is killed)

5:02 - 5:46 = Swimming Pools (Skit) ........................................ The homies are talking about how they are going to get revenge on the Sherane and the two gangbangers that jumped K. Dot. After driving around the city looking for them, Dave (one of K. Dot's homies) open shots on the gangbangers; however, it is Dave who is shot and killed

5:47 - 6:31 = Sing About Me (Skit) .......................................... The homies ask themselves what should they do next (after Dave's death), and K. Dot expresses how he is tired of "this shit" (the Compton lifestyle)

6:32 - 8:18 = I'm Dying of Thirst (Skit) ..................................... This skit starts off at the end of the Sing About Me Skit, with K. Dot saying "I'm tired of this shit." Some random lady (who turns out to be K. Dot's neighbor) sees that K. Dot is stressed approaches him, only to realize that he is holding a pistol. She tells him that he "he's thirsty and needs Holy Water" and to accept God as his personal savior. She then teaches K. Dot and the homies the same pray that starts off this story and this album.

8:19 - 8:42 = Real (Skit 1) ....................................................... This is the 3rd voicemail left on K. Dot's phone. K. Dot's dad tells K. Dot that he is sorry about Dave's death, that he's "not trippin' off that Dominos no more", and how K. Dot can be a real man

8:43 - 9:23 = Real (Skit 2) ....................................................... This is the 3rd voicemail continuing with K. Dot's mom telling him that the neighbor (the random lady) told K. Dot and the homies how to accept God as their personal savior and she also mentions that Top Dawg called looking for K. Dot

9:24 - 10:24 = Real (Skit 3) ..................................................... This is the final skit, which is still part of the 3rd voicemail. K. Dot's mom continues to talk. She tells K. Dot to use his experience, anger, and pain to make music and give back to the city. After she finishes you can hear the tape recorder stop, the tape is ejected, and rewound.
