DESCRIPTION:
Black Assassins' tribute band El Jackal perform their version of the classic Black Assassins' song Multinational Corporate Lifestyle. Recorded live at the Sedition Gallery in Sydney on 9th January 2010 as part of Australia's inaugural Difficult Music Festival.

With members of the Black Assassins dispersed around the world pursuing various freedom and justice projects, opportunities to hear their songs performed live are very rare, with often years between gigs. So local fans of the band got together with guitarist, Mohammed El Jackal to form this Sydney-based tribute band to give the Black Assassins music an occasional airing on Sydney stages.
This line up featured the legendary Louis Burdett on drums.
This cover of Multinational Corporate Lifestyle was one of a set of Black Assassins songs played at El Jackal's first performance after just one half-hour rehearsal, and as you can see it's sits well within the Black Assassins tradition of being a pretty ugly piece of music.
