DESCRIPTION:
3 tracks from Swedish hardcore punk band Skitkids. These songs are only the Skitkids side of the 2004 split EP with Japanese band Exhale. A nice addition to Youtube, because I didn't see these songs posted and it's some of the best Skitkids material -- the second track "Vidrigt Käk Utan Kök" being my personal favorite. After the disbanding of Skitkids, members have gone on to be in other great bands like Herätys and Infernöh. Unlike these newer bands, Skitkids never really had a Kängpunk or d-beat vibe. They kinda had the motör-beat thing going on, but not in an "epic crust" kinda way. What I'm trying to say is that they were pretty uncommon sounding when they were around. To this day, when a band does a rocked out sounding guitar lead my friends will say, "Whoa, that sounds like Skitkids!" Still killer years later.
