The sinister new video for Skinflick by Spiderbite Studios

Formed in 1991 in Bangor, North Wales, Skinflicks original members consisted of J. WIlliams and J.A. Skin. Influenced by industrial, punk and metal they started experimenting and fusing the styles together. The band set out gigging extensively around the UK and releasing numerous tape releases. In 1992 the band temporarily changed there name to Skinflick Productions, releasing two 7" records 'Pretty Dead Girl' and 'Pig Sick' plus further tape and cd releases.
In 1995 the original members parted ways and J. Williams continued back under the name of Skinflick. The first major release was the 'Two Ton Loser' EP which was released on March 10th 2003 on the ZERO TOLERANCE label, a side label of COLD SPRING, the UKs largest Industrial / Ambient label. The side-label was virtually formed on the strength of their demo.
A CD entitled 'Pearls before Swine', which features a heavier industrial rock sound to previous releases, was released in promo format in 2004, plans are to remaster and re-release sometime soon.
A live band was put together and they spent between 2002 - 2005 constantly touring across the U.K. receiving excellent reviews and building a strong fan base. The summer of 2004 saw them playing at the Wave Gotik Treffen festival in Germany and the U.K. Infest 2004 festival.
After many shows together, the original live line up called it a day and in 2005 a new line-up was formed, that concentratated on even more electronic insanity and gut throbbing bass and beats.

While searching for a new home to release on Skinflick decided to tarnish the good name of of a certain pop star with a cover of 'Toxic', released as download only its now hit somewhere in the 10,000 download mark and has received various radio and club play around the world.
With new label Dead Sexy Records came a new six track e.p. 'Year of the Dogs' which was released in June 2005 and concentrates on a much more industrial-metal sound.
After seven years of writing, rewrites, mental breakdowns, screaming and blood on the highway, the next album 'Halo of Flies / The Maggot Circle' was finished.
The original CD double album features CD1 'Halo of Flies' thirteen tracks of dark brooding atmospheric and jagged metal bursts. CD2 'The Maggot Circle' is a collection of remixes of the album by artists such as Mantra, Zintek, Scott Lamb (Deathboy) and many others.
After six years Skinflick have finally returned to the fold with a brand new album for 2012, 'Death Threat Recriminations' was released on 30th March 2012. 8 Tracks of industrial terror rock and distorted electronica, signalling a return to form for the band.
The next album 'Crystal Meth Compendium' is set for release in Autumn 2012. As with the previous releases these are all available for download for free off the internet on various sites.
As well as this they are compiling a compilation of 20 years of material entitled 'Dead World Reopened' which will also be released in 2012.
As of yet there are no plans for live shows but things do change.
As well as their own material SKINFLICK also remix and produce other artists.
