Skeleton Army aka John Morrow started releasing music in his teens, signing to the now legendary Moving Shadow as a member of drum & bass pioneers Foul Play in the early to mid 90s. Fast forward to 2015 and John has slowed the tempo down considerably; ‘Hips’ leads from the front with a tight, swinging house groove whilst next up ‘Freedumb’ is a deliciously effectively deep breakbeat ride with an effecting female vocal imbuing the track with a sense of warmth. Rounding thing off, ‘Madripoor’ piles on the atmospherics for a moody yet beautifully uplifting hypnotic journey.
