DESCRIPTION:
Song for the day....A few years ago some film was found of our high school rock and roll band from 50 plus years ago. It had no sound back then, so made up a little sound and attempted a couple versions. One slower and then fast rock at 3:30 minutes.....don't care for either too much, but since did them have posted.

We were Road Runners.....A long time ago.
We played in a band.....We played Rock and Roll
Steve played bass......Ron played the lead
Johnny played the drums......Larry played the Reid.
My, My, My, My My
I played a little Rhythm...but now I got those Road Runner Blues.

Ron played Duane Eddy.....not much he couldn't do.
I tried to play the keys.......like Cramer's Last Date
We twisted and we boogied.....and partied till it's late.

In 1961 I was havin' fun... but now I got the Road Runner Blues.

In the spring 0f 62...... we were done with school
I joined the Navy......and our band was through.
Then life moved on......had to learn a trade
Got married had kids........hadda work to get paid
My, my my,my my... life was great....and now I got the Road Runner Blues

When we eached 65....twas good to be alive
But, been reminiscin' bout the Road runner five
Ron and Steve, still play some tunes
We been talkin..might get together soon
