DESCRIPTION:
Paris Burning's very first show, at the Mason Jar, Phoenix, on December 16, 1998. With Loki on guitar, Sage on vocals, and Suriel on bass; filmed by Sage's dad on VHS.

We had time, so the sound guy let us do one more song. We should have just walked off the stage on the high note of California Dreamin', but instead, we chose to play a cover of Six Silver Spiders' Insane*, and ended the set on this epic disaster: Sage's guitar strap fell off; Loki broke a string; Sage wanted to start over, but we didn't let him; Azrael and I held the song together (more or less) while everyone got their shit together, but we ended the show a bit off-key and half off the beat. Horrifying.

*It's an awesome song, that we killed during practices. This was clearly not our night.
