* David and I met several years earlier at The Daily Planet at one of many "Open Mic" nights. After we met he would show up at a few of my solo and/or band gigs, etc.

** Unity (Church) had made some sort of Concert arrangement with David to do a 20-30 minute show at some point at the Church as David was a (sometime) member. He asked a bass playing friend of his, Thomas Wilson, if he might be interested in the gig.. Thomas said yes. The 3 of us rehearsed a few times in preparation for the show. At no point during discussions did David hint at wanting a drummer for the performance.. and as it was an intimate gathering.. it was the correct choice.

I'm "spiritual".. not "religious".. I'm unsure of Thomas' belief. I still bump into David from time to time.

Looking back.. I was probably asked along because it was my P.A. System, my Microphones & unless told otherwise, Thomas may also be using my 1972 Fender Jazz Bass guitar as indicated in these pictures. lol

It wasn't planned but notice that we showed up dressed in Patriotic Red (Thomas), White (David) & Blue (Michael). I just love a good co-winkie-dink! ;)

Red T-Shirt I'm wearing in the "Duo" photos is a promotional shirt advertising Southland Greyhound Park and is from my former job/gig at: "The Wine Cellar" located in Sheraton Inn Downtown.
