Jangly Jig - SISTER COMPANY - Video
PUBLISHED:  Sep 01, 2016
DESCRIPTION:
Couldn't sleep and so dug this out for you, from five years before Mary joined and recordings were made in my cellar studio with Mike Middleton on drums. Just me on this, however.

I learned a lot playing the folk circuit in the '80s but it was so NOT rock'n'roll. More like being in school!! Pindrop silence, everyone just rudely staring at you, mostly fellow musicians and half hoping you'll make a mistake, and then they close their eyes and start swaying, singing the same old trite choruses over and over and well, it just did my head in very quickly.

Anyhow, this is something from the mid-'90s, a short one-off folky instrumental on bouzouki. It is also one of the earliest Sister Company recordings.
