In this poem, Versatyle parallels the Martin Luther King legacy with presence of Barack Obama along with the recurring injustices like what happened to Trayvon Martin and Jordan Davis that continue to plague Black people in this so called "Post Racial America". Where multiculturalism is a code word for "Black people be quiet, don't rock the boat"....pretend what's happening is not happening to keep the peace. In other words "act like Jackie Robinson", act like "The Butler" .....on this side we say NO, enough is enough, America fess up and face your demons.
