================================================

One of the most disheartening things for guitar players happens when they see their favorite guitar player performing some major stretch on the fretboard that their own hands just can't physically do.

Perhaps trying to perform the tough stretch is painful or maybe it even pulls your fingers out of position and sounds bad. In either event, this is not a good situation.

While I do think that every guitarist should work to build the ability to perform at least some wide stretches (like the long A chord) this lesson is designed to bridge the gap.

In this lesson, we'll walk through a nice blues progression built around an A Major sound right smack dab in the middle of the fretboard. The cool thing is that the chords used are very compact and require little movement from your fret hand.

This lesson will help you see what's possible on the guitar even if you aren't quite up to the tough stretches yet.

Enjoy!
