Simin Tander has a captivating voice full of power and delicateness at the same time. Exclusively for the festival and for the first time ever she will perform some songs in Pashto, the language of her father, who was born in Kabul and died when she was very young. Simin Tander, whose first name means „silvery" in Persian, has studied in the Netherlands. Her extraordinary talent has been rewarded with many awards and she has already performed at several international festivals. Simin Tander's dream-like vocal improvisations are deeply touching.
