UK roots reggae record label based in Oxford, UK. Set up by the late great David Shamash Norland in 1996 primarily to release music by the band Makating, in which David was a founding member. In later years Shemesh Records released other artists work, but the production was predominantly by the Makating family. Many of the release have subsequently become collectors items.
