DESCRIPTION:
No electric guitars were used in the making of this album. We didn't even bother getting them out of the cases. We used two classical guitars for everything, including the heavy parts and the leads - both Jasmines by Takamine - plugged directly into a Peavey 5150 combo amp, which was housed in an "amp bunker" (a wooden iso booth we built to keep the neighbors from going insane). We were intent from the start to not use Electrics - just sick of the harshness and brightness and thinness... we wanted something warmer, dulled-down, earthier and dreamier - and we thought the classicals would help us deliver that.
