NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED - (Colpix 777) Out of Los Angeles, this brief two minute dancer was the official theme song for the teen music dance show broadcast on KTLA-TV in Los Angels from 1965-1968, 'Shebang'. The program was hosted by Radio personality, Casey Kasem.
Recorded in Hollywood in June 1965 with an ensemble of L.A's 'Wrecking Crew' hammering out the track, the song was written by the producer, Steve Venet along with Tommy Boyce and Toni Wine.
No information to be found on the SISTERS McGEE other than they were the five daughters of Lee and Mae McGee of San Bernardino, California. The girls names were Ethel, Cordelia, Juliann, Marilyn and Carla. It's not known which of the five sisters were featured on the recording.
