Her real name was Sharon Marie Esparza, beyond that I haven't got much of any information on her. Google suggests she was possibly a one-time girlfriend of Mike Love's. Mike co-wrote this song with Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys. I remixed this song from a few tracks on the Sea Of Tunes bootlegs. When comparing this stereo mix to the mono mix directly, it does seem to be a little lacking, but when I remixed the track I did compare the track mixed down in mono to the original mono version and they sounded fairly similar, certainly a lot closer than the original stereo mix sounded. I lowered the volume of the music track and raised the volume of the lead vocals. On the bootleg, the song ran to a cold ending but I felt it sounded better faded down so I faded this one down toward the end of the song, which still has it running longer than the original 45 did.
