*ALTERNATIVE VERSION* "Mary Anne" has three versions. Two versions of the song featured Al Kooper, of Blood, Sweat & Tears fame, on organ. Ultimately a third version was done, without Kooper, and it is that one which appears on The Who Sell Out. The version presented here is commonly referred to as (US Mirasound Version). Recorded on 6 August 1967 at Mirasound Studios, New York. The other version featuring Al Kooper is referred to as (US mono single mix). My apologies to Diana Rigg who I shamelessly stole images of to use as my "Mary Anne".
