Scene 3: Caesar Augustus issues the decree for a census. (Luke 2:2)
Scene 4: Mary and Joseph travel to Bethlehem. (Luke 2:4-5)
Scene 5: Christ is born In Bethlehem. (Luke 2:6-7)
Scene 6: The angel announces Jesus' birth to the shepherds. (Luke 2:8:14)
Scene 7: The shepherds worship Jesus, and then go and tell others. (Luke 2:15-20)

O magnum mysterium,
et admirabile sacramentum,
ut animalia viderent Dominum natum,
jacentem in praesepio!
Beata Virgo, cujus viscera
meruerunt portare
Dominum Christum.

English Translation:
O great mystery,
and wonderful sacrament,
that animals should see the new-born Lord,
lying in a manger!
Blessed is the Virgin whose womb
was worthy to bear
Christ the Lord.
