Harry Hackett & David Stone aka Gerra & Stone are a Drum & Bass duo from Southampton, UK. Holding down a number of residences around the South Coast of England, the two have played along side one another for sometime now and it was inevitable that the pair would take their alliance from the decks to the studio!

2012 now see's them bring the results in the wake of their debut sighing to Proximity Recordings with a 4 track EP titled Anywhere But Here EP.

Street Talk takes its approach with haunting strings, fierce saws and tightly polished beats! Vocal samples sum up this track nicely offering a DJ friendly nature that it is sure to creep its way many a jockeys bag!

Taking things a little deeper on the B.side is Shadesville. Seminal sounds and crunchy beats are later met with pitch bended subs, dark side mids and an array of sweeps and swells to really get you moving on the dance floor, and it does just that!

Stepping it up a notch is Spyhole. This rather militant number is one for the steppers out there with its droning bass, sublime vox and rolling beats! Pads and other effects offer a link to the deep and the dark!

Rounding off the EP in style is the titled track Anywhere But Here. Warm mids and heavyweight drums pound their way through this one capturing the Proximity sound to a tee! Reverberated sounds fill up the space neatly, creating all sorts of lovely dynamics, leaving us with wanting more and more from the duo!
