Here are 4 songs from my soon-to-be (May, 2010) released cd, Watercolor Day. It's my 2nd solo record. The first, Instant Pleasure, won Best Pop Album at the 2005 Los Angeles Music Awards. In 2007, I put out an album with Mike Ruekberg (we're The Red Button) called She's About to Cross My Mind which won many Year End Polls as Best album of 2007. Our single "Cruel Girl" was 1 in Billboard on The Garage Band chart in July, 2007. Our second record will be coming out Fall, 2010. By the way, you can hear more song clips from Watercolor Day and/or purchase it at seth.com/watercolor_day.html.

I write songs that owe a nod to the mid 60s- mid 70s-type song: 2 and a half minutes long, lots of melody, one or two ideas in the lyrics. simple and singable (have they found anything better for the human soul than singing out loud?). I was a staff songwriter for Warner-Chappell and EMI Music for many years, my most recognizable song being "Tell it to My Heart" and "Prove Your Love" sung by Taylor Dayne. I also wrote songs for Al Green ("Love is a Beautiful Thing", the theme song in the movie Legally Blond; Smokey Robinson, Celine Dion, Air Supply, Michael McDonald.lots of pop artists. I call myself a Manic Expressive because creativity is like air to me. Outside of music, I made three bestselling books that consisted of my correspondence with mostly former baseball players. The first book is called "Baseball Letters". Currently, I'm finishing a documentary called "Beatles Stories" which is made up of filmed interviews I've done with people who have a story about themselves and The Beatles. I've interviewed everyone from Sir Ben Kingsley to Graham Nash, to many of their past engineers as well as their producer Sir George Martin.
