The Sethro Quartet ( http://www.myspace.com/sethroquartet ) gives a nice twist on the classic by Djalma Ferreia & Luiz Antonio, "Recado Bossa Nova," at the Beachland Tavern in Cleveland, Ohio on December 12, 2009. Tom Shaper adds to the rhythm section with his instrumental invention, the Jasperbridge ( http://www.myjbridge.com/fr_forumblog.cfm?feature=989167&postid=104569 )

Leading out on mandolin is Seth Rosen, with Gene Epstein (of Gene's Jazz Hot) on upright bass and Gregg Gunlock playing latin on his drums. The Sethro four are followed in the evening by the great Bill Kirchen.
