1970 : une époque où émergeaient en même temps Frank Zappa avec « Hot Rats », Sly and the Family Stone , James Brown et Miles Davis à l'Ile de Whight avec son electric band.
Plus qu'un hommage, une transposition de ces idées novatrices avec les outils d'aujourd'hui. Il ne s'agit pas ici de « citer » des références musicales, mais d'en proposer de nouvelles en s'imprègnant des méthodes de travail de direction d'orchestre et de compositions qui caractérisent cette période très prolifique du début des années 70.
