Verka Serduchka



Is Ukrainian Cinderella and Ukrainian dream. She comes of social bottom stock and used to work as a conductor. Then, she took part in creative competitions and organized own talk show where she invited famous people including singers. Afterwards, Verka Serduchka desired to become a singer herself and became one. She won the hearts in her native country Ukraine and neighboring Russia. In Moscow, Serduchka gathered two Luzhniki Sports Palaces where her concerts were visited by around 20 thousand people. And the disks of the star circulate in millions. Verka Serduchka became popular in all CIS and Baltic countries. In addition, her songs are rehashed in Poland, Germany, Israel and even India… What’s next? Certainly the Eurovision. Since Verka Serduchka is a dove of peace, her arch object is to amuse and grant only positive emotions to people around.



Teatr Danilko



Andrey Danilko was born in the city of Poltava. In 1990, he starts working and creates his most brilliant character – the conductor Verka Serduchka. April 1 of the next year, at a humor contest in Poltava, Verka Serduchka was officially presented. The vivid image created a real sensation, after which Andrei Danilko went on his first concert tour to Stavropol Region (Russian Federation). Following Serduchka, Andrei Danilko creates other characters: the actor performs in the image of policeman, teacher, soldier, female ballet dancer… This way, the complete theater of Danilko is established which successfully tours the cities of Russia and Ukraine. March 1995 – International Festival Sea of Laughter where Andrei wins grand prix as a performer. Summer 1999 – Danilko Theater tours Russia and other CIS countries. Everywhere the performances are accompanied by elevated interest on the side of spectators and mass media. Autumn 2000, Andrei becomes the winner of Arkadi Raikin Cup at the festival Humor Cup for Serduchka personage. Year 2002 – tours in CIS and Baltic countries. The whole year long, Andrei Danilko and his theater shows the program “I am a Revolution”. Summer 2003 – the concert tour I Am Born for Love. The Danilko Theater visits cities of Russia and Ukraine. A bit later, Andrei receives the title Honored Artist of Ukraine. Year 2003 – the grandiose concert tour Only Hits across CIS countries. The Danilko Theater visited 112 cities of Russia in this period. Over the years of Andrei Danilko performance, of all his figures, namely Verka Serduchka was most loved by spectators, namely this personage came out to the foreground and won millions of admirers. After all when his creation, the bright conductor Serduchka, emerged as a no less bright singer, it became clear for everybody that Serduchka is a living legend. The ‘living legend’ Verka Serduchka wins in the end of 2003 the Diamond Disk for 500.000 of Kha-ra-sho (Goo-oo-ood) albums sold. January 2004, Andrei (in the image of Serduchka) with his theater visits the cities of the U.S.A. In New York (Millennium Theater), 6 solo concerts were staged, visited by about 40 thousand people. In the whole, Danilko Theater visits 17 cities of the U.S.A. with concerts. In 2005 Verka Serduchka of Andrey Danilko wins the most prestigious award of popular music industry Muz-TV for the abovementioned Kha-ra-sho album which becomes the album of the year. As of 2006, over million copies of Kha-ra-sho albums were sold in Russia and over 500 thousand copies in Ukraine. The same lot fell on the following Chita-Drita album. What is the secret of such popularity of Verka Serduchka? Maybe it is in the fact that she is able to amuse people and grant them only positive emotions.



Instrumental Music



Andrey started writing instrumental music since he was a student of Stage and Circus College. However, he showed his works only to the closest friends understanding that the music of barely known artist will not interest anyone. Only having received the status of a very popular comedy actor, Andrei represented to the public his instrumental compositions. October 4, 2004, on musical TV channels of Ukraine, a very touching music video After You… was showed which had been made to the same-name instrumental composition of Andrei. The music video featured the beginning actor Yuriy Avramenko, who, in the opinion of spectators, played young Danilko. Later, the same actor acted in the following music video on the Doll composition. The presentation of music video was made April 24, 2005. The same day, Andrey Danilko presented the debut album of instrumental music After You… which was praised by musical critics. In addition, the undeniably beautiful instrumental compositions of Andrey Danilko are widely used by circus actors, for staging items and in documentary Russian films. Now, the composer Danilko works on the material for the following album which release is anticipated in autumn 2007.
