In 2007, during his last year of high school, Justin Seward was inspired to start an acoustic project in Boise Idaho. A year later marked the expansion of Self Conclusion as a full-fledged band. Through tough times, Seward went solo again at the end of 2008 with a few acoustic tours. After recommendation, Clay Tucker joined, along with David Gardner, to make a dynamic three piece in May 2009. Later that year, with the addition of John Vieira of Zombie At Heart and Allen Berkey, the line up was solidified. Although Self Conclusion is a powerful pop rock group, they seek a higher purpose. “Many bands focus solely on making it “big” or making money. Self Conclusion aims to have a good time jamming our tunes and loving people. Everyone is searching for a place to belong and feel wanted,” says Tucker. “We want to play music people can relate to,” says Seward, “something real and comfortable.” This seeps from Self Conclusion’s high intensity shows, marked with strong emotion.

During Seward’s latest solo period, he recorded an EP entitled ‘It’s Bad Luck To Be Superstitious’. The five-song record, engineered/produced/mastered by Anthony Santonocito (This Condition, Shut Up and Deal) of Killingsworth Studios in Long Island, NY, was a bold leap out. The album addresses life issues with unswerving honesty. The EP makes you the feel as if you are reading Seward’s journal, revealing his journey up until now. It delivers solid rock, upbeat pop elements, and heartfelt lyrics.

Fresh talent and evolving sound has prompted the band to pursue recording a new, self-funded, album. The group looks to record a full-length and release it spring of 2010. Once the album is complete, Self Conclusion will focus their attention on booking tours and hitting the road hard.
