Franz Job - Rebel Lover Boy EP Mini Mix - Oct 2011 (Necessary Mayhem) - Video
PUBLISHED:  Oct 22, 2011
DESCRIPTION:
*STRICTLY UK*
A little mini-mix of the latest offering from the Necessary Mayhem camp from the mostly rootsy-sounding EP - Rebel Lover Boy from UK-based artist Franz Job. Make sure you keep it locked until the last track for something a little different though. The vocal reminds me of a certain former member of the Fugees.....

Bio courtesy of Necessary Mayhem:
Following the success of tracks such as "What's It Going to Be" on Curtis Lynch's bass-heavy Gorilla Riddim, the Trinidadian-born, London-based reggae artist, Franz Job is back with his latest EP, Rebel Lover Boy, available on Necessary Mayhem.
Franz Job's love for music began early on in his life. He started playing rhythm guitar for church congregations and Folk groups in Trinidad at the tender age of 14. These experiences, as well as growing up listening to musicians like The Wailers and Israel Vibration, heavily influence his style today. The success of his 2009 debut album 'Babylon is Dead' set his name firmly into the UK Reggae scene.

His current release, Rebel Lover Boy, showcases his stand-out collaborations with heavyweight producer, Curtis Lynch. The five track EP, including Job's cut on Gorilla Riddim and Full Up Riddim, showcases the talents of both artist and producer. Franz Job's raw vocals and lyrical messages on are complemented by Lynch's smooth, catchy and varied acoustics.
