Lyrics are a somewhat impressionistic narrative of alleged events surrounding the brutal murder of Vicki Morgan in July of 1983 - she having been the mistress of Alfred Bloomingdale of the Bloomingdale retail empire and fortune.

"An Inconvenient Woman", a 1990 fictionalized "based-on-actual-events" novel by Dominick Dunne (Vanity Fair magazine) follows the rough outline of this tawdry tale. A televised mini-series of the same title aired in 1991, though it is unavailable commercially at this time.

The song lyrics are from the perspective of the perpetrators of the criminal conspiracy meant to silence Morgan.
