DESCRIPTION:
Scott Stapp, the lead singer of Creed, performed live with his band at the Luxor Club in Köln / Cologne, Germany on Monday, April 28, 2014. It was the final European concert of his Proof of Life Tour.

Scott Alan Stapp (born August 8, 1973) is an American musician and singer-songwriter. He is also the lead vocalist and lyricist of the rock band Creed, of which he is a founding member. His debut solo album, The Great Divide, was released in 2005. His second album, Proof of Life, was released on November 5, 2013. Creed released 4 studio albums so far.

The song is "Higher", the first single from Creed's second album "Human Clay" (my favourite Creed-album), released in 1999. It was Creed's major breakthrough hit which helped to place them firmly in the American mainstream music scene. It peaked at number seven on the Billboard Hot 100 on the issue dated July 22, 2000, and spent 57 weeks upon the survey, which is the longest stay for any Creed song on the Hot 100. Furthermore, it topped both the Modern Rock and Mainstream Rock tallies in the process, setting a then-record of 17 weeks for longest stay at the top of the Mainstream Rock chart.

It was the first time I saw and heard Scott Stapp live, I had been waiting for over 12 years to see Creed perfom live (I went to a few Alter Bridge shows, the band which the other members of Creed are also part of), but I'm more partial to the vocals of Stapp and I have to say that they are live just as impressive as on the albums, great show!
