Las Reatas

Las Reatas started as an actual band with Rob Stefaniuk Scott McCullough, John Borra and Dean Dallas Bentley. After one sold out show at the Bovine Sex Club, they disbanded and McCullough kept the name and retreated to his bedroom with a new computer courtesy of his old Luther Victim running mate St Patrick Madahain of the Hy Many.Parson of Glam
After this they mutated into the worlds first telephone band.all vocals coming courtesy of long distance voice mails replayed through the cheapest microphone on the market. These cosmic digital anecdotes were then smashed up against bottom heavy samples from anywhere they could be found and briefly barfed up on to the interweb for the enjoyment of the two principal members.the aforementioned Glam Parson and the mysterious MC Scottfree, once the countries most ruthless guitarist, now a madman of mashup and montage.
Four years and four hundred songs later, MC Free's alter ego Johnny Screw, decided to winter out at Glams west coast hideaway and found themselves sitting in front of an acoustic guitar, 512 MG of memory and an old Macbook (or micbook or mickbook or some such thing)
Thusly, "La Pistola del Corazon" was birthed, a lo-fi punk rock cry from the wilderness wetlands, a funky dew old school spew from the edge of Sir Reality.
Out on vinyl soon at a store that no longer exists.
