There was something enticing in the percussive acoustic sounds he heard as a child. The finger picking of Chet Atkins, the driving rhythm of Jerry Lee, the melodies of Jim Croce.



Scott grew up in a home filled with the sounds that would shape his musical heritage. Raised in Texas, Scott moved to southern California at the age of twenty to play music.
