The 'Easy Shredder' Chop - Drum Lesson by Nick Bukey

In this lesson, I break down a sextuplet fill/gospel chop and show you how to apply it in many ways and forms around the drum kit. I demonstrate the pattern slowly so you can easily see the accents and sticking as well as provide exercises for developing your coordination and playing vocabulary with this rhythm. I also show you how to improvise fills and how to ‘shred’ with a 9 note sequence which forms the basis for this pattern.
