ABRSM are proud sponsors of the Mayor’s Music Fund scholarships and were delighted to help facilitate workshops and a concert for parents, teachers, trustees and the Mayor of London during the New Scholars’ Awards Day at City Hall.

Featuring interviews with new scholars, workshop leaders and Boris Johnson this film brings you highlights from the New Scholar’s Awards Day which took place on Tuesday, 29 September 2015.

The Mayor’s Music Fund provides extensive musical opportunities for hundreds of aspiring young musicians to develop their potential. We do this by awarding four year scholarships to primary school children who show commitment to learning an instrument, but whose parents are unable to meet the cost of tuition.
