DESCRIPTION:
Earthlings is a powerful documentary that inspired myself and many others to 'make the connection.' I grew up loving animals and believing animal cruetly was wrong yet simultaneously I paid for animals to be confined, mutilated and slaughtered. I am now part of an activist groups aiming to spread awareness about the meat, dairy, fur and medical research industries so people can make more informed choices about the 'products' (or dead animals) they are paying for.

We regularly hold Earthlings Experience demonstrations on Market Street in Manchester. We show mostly UK farm and slaughterhouse footage wearing masks to create curiosity and to allow the public to make a personal connection to the film, free from judgement. The focus is not on shaming individuals but understanding that most of us were ignorant to the harm we were causing and to impart our knowledge.
