REALITY TV PILOT -- "PROJECT: AMERICAN STUDIO"
[April 28, 2013]

Old Bridge, NJ - PROJECT: American Studio is back with a completely new reality tv pilot concept, introducing a "Dream Team" of professionals and one local band looking for professional direction.

This new direction focuses on just how difficult it is to make a larger-than-life living in the music industry. This revamped concept takes novices into the world of musicians where the results are infinitely more glamorous than the road to get there.

Aarius Studios Owners, Joe and Crystal Cattano, sought out for the perfect "local band" for whom they felt [had] potential at making it big -- all this band needed was that extra push from their studio in efforts of achieving the ultimate dream of "rock stardom".

The band chosen for PROJECT: American Studio's tv pilot [was] Brick's own "Lower the Veil". The Cattano's task [was] to assist in creating a greater image for "Lower the Veil" and to take them to the next level in their band career. To do this, Crystal (Project Director / Artist Development / Photographer) and Joe (Engineer / Producer), enlisted a "Dream Team" of professionals that includes, Rob "Shottie" Shotwell (Creative Director), Chris and Pattie Homeny (Artistic Direction), Tim "Chigger" Louie (Media Relations), Steve "Zipperhead" Murafsky (Promotions) and Special Guest Producer, "Metal Mike" Chlasciak.

Does this "Dream Team of Experts" have what it takes to guide and transform one local band towards a "real chance" at becoming rock stars?

Does this band have what it takes to capture the interest of "any" record label?

Stay tuned to find out for yourself!

Why Aarius Studios?
PROJECT: American Studios' "main hub" [was] a state-of-the-art rehearsal and recording facility called Aarius Studios, located in the heart of Central New Jersey. Aarius Studios [was] a 6,000 square foot, multi-room rehearsal music complex that included affordable, full multi-track recording capabilities and top-of-the-line equipment. Until April 2014, Aarius Studios [was] the rehearsal and recording studio of choice for musicians encompassing the tri-state area. They attracted musical superstars such as Biohazard, Black Label Society, Blondie, Debbie Harry, Corey Glover, Glen Burtnik, Lizzy Borden, Mindflow, and Tantric, just to name a few, who utilized the studio.

***Current Studio Status: CLOSED 04/30/2014***
Old Bridge, NJ May 2, 2014 – Across the music industry, rehearsal and recording studios are unfortunately becoming known more for closing than what they are turning out. Aarius Studios was no different and has officially closed as of April 30, 2014 after 8 years of being part of New Jersey’s local music scene. In a nutshell, we experienced very little business in the months following Hurricane Sandy at the end of 2012 into 2013. No sooner did we start to see an increase in business for Aarius Studios, we were again hit hard by Mother Nature’s winter of 2013 into 2014 with excessive snow storms that led to studio/session cancellations. This in addition to both economic and cultural impacts gave us no other alternative.
