After gracing more than 20 CDs and appearing in thousands of live shows in Southern California, Tanya Winch declared Austin, Texas to be her new home in 2006. The musically gifted Appleton, Wisconsin native is a talented singer and songwriter. Her songwriting can be heard everywhere from MTV to Showtime to Santa Monica nudist colonies. She played in award winning independent bands as a studio singer throughout her career, including a backup singing appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. With the desert behind her, Tanya has quickly settled into her new life in Austin by teaching songwriting and vocal harmonies to the lovely ladies of GirlGuitarAustin.com and has never looked back.


Tanya currently plays and sings a weekly Sunday evening show at Opa! with the incomparable Matt Giles and many a guest sitting in. She also sings and plays percussion for the '70's cover band trio The Bigeegos who regularly frequent Jack Allan's Kitchen on Tues nights. Tanya is in the studio recording her newest CD, "Full Moon Half Blind".
