Gösta Berlings saga Recording Mini Moog bass with feedback trick - Video

DESCRIPTION:
The saga continues.Yesterday was the second day of sessions for Swedish prog band Gösta Berlings saga. It was a long and interesting day with loads of cool overdubs. We did a handful of Mellotron stuff, the odd Orchestron line, some Optigan as well as loops, Casio vocal looping, Mini moog bass and melody lines and to top it all off we ended with a Hammond L.-100 (Änglagårds old war axe)

But for me I think the coolest was recording an entire track based in the acoustics of the church organ room. Using the old 1920s Kallman Piano, recording a gran cassa live in the room and then building a very atmospheric track together. I am very impressed with the bravery and ambition this band has and I really hope that a lot of prog fans will check the album out when it is released in March.

As we didnt really finished everything we will be recording tonight as well so there might be some more films on the incoming but well see
