DJ Suddha is the alter-ego of Tom Armstrong, originally from England but now based predominantly in Thailand and Sri Lanka. He first discovered psychedelic trance music at underground parties in London in the late 1990s and his love and passion for the sound continues to this day. A former label DJ for Phar-Psyde Records, Tom is now a regular with the colourful Tribe Of Frog crew in the UK and joined Purple Hexagon Records in 2013, collaborating in parties across South East Asia and compiling their VA CD release ‘Deep Purple’ in 2015.
Tom has been fortunate to have found himself on some stellar line-ups at parties at festivals of all shapes and sizes in a far-flung assortment of skanky industrial squats, pristine mountains and paradise beaches. He has played all over the UK (including Boomtown festival, Glade festival, Waveform, Tribe of Frog) and Thailand (Experience festival, Lost In Paradise, Moon Mountain, Ban Sabai, Half Moon, Black Moon, Smiling Land, Zoom) as well as having memorable gigs in Malaysia, Cambodia, Singapore, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, China and India. His pumping and distinctly UK-influenced style is ideally suited to the twilight hours, where the harmonic blend of pulsating synth and bass driven.
