“‘Glass’ was one of the first songs written for ‘Saboteur’" says Estrada. "It’s was the light bulb moment for us in terms of the direction we wanted to head in with the album. Kurt Ballou’s mix really brought all of the elements together and created what we feel is the best representation of the band at this point in time. The song is about starting over. Forgetting everything you’ve ever known in order to open yourself up to new ideas, struggles, people etc. New self/social awareness can often stir up frustration towards the past. ‘Glass’ is about breaking through that.”
