DESCRIPTION:
The debut of Ryan Weaver's new song, backed by Colorado Springs' own 6035, at the Veteran's Rally in Cripple Creek on Aug 20, 2016.
Ryan Weaver is an up-and-coming Nashville recording artist, Iraqi war vet, and Blackhawk helicopter pilot.
6035 (sixty thirty-five) is a rock classics tribute band that takes pride in playing songs that sound just like the originals -- a tight mix of music from Led Zeppelin to Billy Joel and Journey to the Foo Fighters. Their shows feature songs everyone knows the words to -- from groovy hippies to alternative hipsters.
The unbridled rock action is created by dual guitarists Dave Turnupseed and Jason Hepner, who aren’t afraid of a little old school guitar distortion. Anthony Lopez lays a deep rhythmic bass line, joined by Rick Hilyard on drums–who flawlessly provides the weight needed to keep it all rolling. Add the astonishing versatility of Fritz Genato’s voice, which ranges from a mellow croon to the raw power of a hardcore headbanger, and the energy is irresistible-- everyone has to dance!
6035, which takes its name from the official elevation of Colorado Springs, has been voted one of the Pikes Peak region’s top bands
