Northern Irish Singer Song writer, Ryan Simpson, does his take on the christmas carol - Silent Night. The female vocals are performed by Jenny and Janet Johnston.
When Ryan asked me to record and produce this track i knew i wanted to keep it as minimal and simple as possible to allow the three vocal parts to take lead. Ryans vocals are smooth and haunting and Jennys angelic vocals, accompyaning Ryan in an ocatave unison, sit perfectly together. Janet is a natural with harmonies and so her addition from verse 2 just lifts the song to another haunting level.
The three vocalists worked so well together that they have planned to record a christmas album for next year.
