Ryan Culwell

Thanks for coming by. I want everyone to know that I am working harder than ever on music these days. In the last few years my music has taken me so many places. I have shared the stage with country legend David Allan Coe, and bands like Need to Breathe, and Sleeping At Last and even Ben Kweller. One night I would be standing in front of a sea of cowboy hats, and the next I was surrounded by hipsters in skinny jeans. I don't wear cowboy hats or skinny jeans, but I was really excited to see that my music appealed to so many different kinds of people. I think people can spot sincerity and it transcends genre or fashion. Lately, I have been spending most of my time writing. I had the opportunity to write with Lacey Brown last summer on a song that I am very proud of, and it was the first song I had written for someone else to sing. Co-writing with her sparked something in me that has been growing into a fire. It was so natural and fun for me, that I am planning on writing with as many artists as I can in the next season of my career. In fact, it is my focus. Not to worry though, I still plan on making my own music as well. See you out there.
