DESCRIPTION:
Here's an early soundboard recording of the mighty CRYPTIC SLAUGHTER, when they played at Ruthie's Inn in Berkeley in December 1985. Although a soundboard recording, it's still pretty rough sounding (the guitar doesn't come through enough), so after some major Restoration & mastering, it came out pretty decent sounding. They play most of the tracks that would appear on their debut LP "Convicted" released in late 1986. A couple of tracks from their demo also get played & a cover of Minor Threat with Dan from Excel singing. They also play "Controlled by the State" for the very first time, ofcourse this song became "State control" later on. 14 tracks, 35 minutes.
