Rushmore Academy was an American pop-punk band from St. Louis, Missouri, formed in 2003. Before disbanding in 2007, the band released two independent E.P.s, "If The Cigarette Smoke Doesn't Kill You, The Hairspray Will" and "Dramatics & Theatrics."

"Unreleased" is a collection previously unreleased material that would have constituted Rushmore's third E.P.

These songs were produced, mixed, and engineered by Marc McClusky at Chicago Sound Lab and McClusky's home studio in Chicago, IL. (A different home studio than the studio in which the band's second E.P. "Dramatics & Theatrics was recorded.)
