The fourth part of a video that presents a line-up of the most relevant Jazz saxophone improvisators. Blues & Jazz allowed musicians to use the sax in their solo improvisations, bringing it up to a level never heard before in the saxophone brief history. Mr. Adolf Sax's invention then become one of the most expressive instruments in the Jazzband, and not only: the tenor saxophone, for instance, played a primal and very unique role in the early Rock'n'Roll (50's), Saxes can be heard today in a vast number of musical typologies: Soul, Rhythm'nBlues, Fusion, Pop, Rock, New Music, Afro-Cuban, EtnoJazz, World Fusion, Contemporary, and many other styles.
