DESCRIPTION:
In 2009, the Hard Rock hosted its first national battle of the bands, The Ambassadors of Rock.
One band, one winner, had the opportunity to represent America and perform on the same stage as Bruce Springsteen, Dave Matthews band, Neil Young, The Killers and a full line up in front of tens of thousands of people in Londons legendary Hyde Park. Over a 2 month period of time, and 150 bands later, one group, the Rudy Vaughn Band, became that band.
This is the story of their experience the time when a band who had only been performing together for less than a year was able to jump to an international stage in front of tens of thousands of people, seemingly overnight.
