Born to an Ecuadorian father and Puerto Rican mother, Rubi Pazmino was raised in Chicago, on the south side where she absorbed the sounds of Tito Puente and Marc Anthony performing in her fathers night club. Wrapped in the element of Salsa and Merengue as a child, Rubi realized that having a presence in the industry of music was indeed her destiny. With every band that her father booked for his club, Rubis' ambition and love of performing grew stronger and more determined.



After developing a buzz in Chicago as the newest Jewel of Latin Music, having gained the recognition of super producers Isidro Infante (Celia Cruz) and Chicagos own Angel Melendez.



With a flawless fusion of R&B, Latin Soul and Reggaeton, Rubi has developed a sound that reflects her naturally soulful voice while still staying true to her Latin roots. Working with noted songwriters Nandi and Purple St. James who have graced the projects of Carlos Santana, Erykah Badu and Donell Jones, Rubi has quickly developed into a musical contender that is sonically undeniable. With a project filled with Reggaeton, sultry ballads and the socially charged Better Days, Rubi Pazmino is indeed a most precious gem for the entire world to behold.
