DESCRIPTION:
Ruben Studdard and The Black Academy Choir perform this comforting soul ballad "Medicine (For Someone Else)" from the CD "Medicine: Live At The Black Academy of Arts & Letters" (MCG Records). The CD is a fundraising tool to raise money for its youth arts programs at the Dallas, TX-based Black Academy of Arts & Letters. It is a 501 C3 that has seen a reduction in government grants for its programs benefiting inner city youth.
