DESCRIPTION:
This was a 1990 rock & roll New Year's road trip with 3 shows on the west coast of Canada in Whistler, Victoria & Vancouver. Lot's of candid moments with our families & road crew on this trip, card games, laughter & craziness. As usual when The Pikes set out on a tour it's storming at some point along the way. Vancouver had just got fresh snow & the streets were very slippery, our ferry ride to Victoria had snow on the decks as well.
Some great moments on stage in this video, we had our big "Snow In June" Compass backdrop setup at the McPherson Playhouse Theatre in Victoria, some great lighting from Fin on this show.
We played the New Year's Eve gig in Vancouver with The Tragically Hip, a great bunch of guys and a rockin' good band.
Our good friend Ross Nykiforuk is playing keyboards, sax & of course, smoking.
