DESCRIPTION:
As we pass the 50th anniversary of the original Merry Pranksters 1964 cross country trip on the Furthur bus, Zane Kesey, son of Ken Kesey, opines on the old days and the original bus trip, his father's legacy, and his goals with the Furthur Down the Road Foundation.

Kesey, caretaker of the Furthur bus for his family, was asked to take the famous bus on a trip again, to recreate a new adventure in a call back to the past, with flavor from the present.

"Everybody's read this book and everyone can imagine what it would be like to be on this trip...and imagine if the trip was happening now, what it would be like. The idea that you could be there, it's all multi-media, and you can be checking up with us," explained Kesey.

The Furthur Down the Road Foundation is an Oregon-based 501c3, non-profit organization devoted to restoring Ken Kesey's original Furthur bus and educating and inspiring future generations about the life and art of Ken Kesey.
