As you probably know, Country Metal Punk outlaw Hank Williams III (A.K.A. HANK3) comes from a legendary family of well gifted musicians. In case you didn't know, HANK3 is the grandson of Hank Williams, Sr., son of Hank Williams, Jr., and the half-brother of Holly Williams.

Surprisingly, HANK3 was not raised on the road as you would expect. Instead, he was "forced" to play music after he failed to earn the necessary grades to play sports during his school years. Then he soon realized that he could hold his own, especially on the guitar and drums. And even though he is not musically trained, and has no training whatsoever in music theory, HANK3 has managed to create exciting music that has surely gotten him away from the shadow of his legendary music ancestors.

And you gotta love the fact that this multi-instrumentalist loves combining his Country music roots with Heavy Metal and Punk Rock! The best part is that he does it all with plenty of heart, balls and passion. This in my opinion makes him one of the coolest music rebels in the history of Heavy Music.
